I went to see elephants on my adventure day! During my month in Chiang Mai, Thailand, my team and I decided to visit an elephant sanctuary to see some elephants. They are such beautiful, majestic creatures! At the Kanta Elephant Sanctuary; a safe haven for rescued elephants, I was able to feed the elephants snacks of bananas and sugar cane and also helped give them a bath! We got very wet! I learned that there is a lot of differences between Asian elephants and African elephants. African elephants are bigger and grey in color where as Asian elephants are smaller and darker in hue with pinkish colored freckles.  Elephants are so smart and we met one who was very sassy!  I had so much fun and it was so wonderful to support a place that really rescues and takes care of the elephants. Check out my video below of our fun with the elephants!
